Oh My god.. time flies

Every time I start a sentence with 'I just graduated from University of Minnesota and joined work... ' I feel that rush of fluid through my spine.. Now its been over ONE YEAR since I joined work and before I realize I'll be making a post that says TWO !!

What's happened to this entire year ? Did it just zip across while I was sitting in front of the computer ? Or for that matter the two dozen years of my life.. Am I getting old ?

Shaking off the paranoia, let me take a minute to review my last year..

Bad things...

I didn't learn so much this year.. Well, I'm out of school.. That's expected..

Didn't achieve anything technically great... Not that I used to before..

Didn't work day and night like crazy.. Wait a minute.. is that bad ?

Have slowly lost touch with many friends and folks around the world.. Terrible...

Didn't do as much activity as I expected myself to do..

Outdated myself on electronic possessions and passions.. Its criminal to do that when money is not a reason..

Good things..

Set up a house.. still setting up I should say..

Acted/ Actively participated in a Tamil play.. my long lost desire.. Makes up for a lot of things..

Another US trip... This time with Amma/Appa.. Great vacation.. Fun..

Skied a bit.. That was fun.. Should do more of that..

Had lots of friends and family visit me.. Made up a bit for that huge summer trip last year and this year..

 

Not so bad after all... Soon to come a wish list for the future.. FY08 planning..
